Urban Rockhounding: Tri-Cities Agate Hunting

This was quite the long day for us. We drove over 300 miles hitting up spots looking for agates and it was absolutely worth it!

Personally the first location was the most enjoyable but we found better stuff on this day looking in the city.

The Tri-Citites is made up the city's of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, WA but the best agates have been found in and around the greater Richland area.

Pretty much what it comes down to is if you see freshly disturbed soil from a construction of a house, business, fence, or road go look at it.
