Sufjan Stevens & Julien Baker — A Crisis of Faith

Know my name and all of my hideous mistakes, but I rejoice.

In 2015, two darling indie folk artists released albums about struggling with their faith and doubting God - Sufjan Stevens with Carrie & Lowell, and Julien Baker with Sprained Ankle. Despite their spiritual lives being almost complete opposites, both of these albums have been vital for me in my own relationship with God.
