Saved in my own jewellery box for many years this splendid sea treasure dating 1870 ca!

A truly spectacular double strand of Natural Basra pearls from the Persian gulf

Rare size ranging in size from an average of 12 mm. the largest to 3 mm. the smallest – pearls are all pure untreated as found in the depth of the sea, beautiful colour from white cream to silvery white and superb lustre with them

I'm selling them as found in double strand version but I could easily separate making even more profit with them

They are graduate in size and beautifully mounted in an outstanding length of 96 cm. The shorter strand! The necklace weighs 71.7 grams!!!

This is rarer than hen teeth!

Chic, wearable, so unique bearing glamour and discrete charm

Pearls vary in shape and are rather baroque very nicely matched each other even though not spherical otherwise they would have been prohibitive in cost especially of this size and weight
