سلام على المعذب في قعر السجون (Peace be upon the tormented in the depths of prisons)

اللقب والمكانة: الإمام موسى بن جعفر الكاظم هو الإمام السابع من أئمة أهل البيت، واشتهر بلقب باب الحوائج لكثرة ما كان يُستجاب الدعاء عند قبره، ولأنه كان ملجأً للمحتاجين والفقراء.

حياته في السجون: قضى معظم سنوات إمامته بين سجون العباسيين، خصوصًا في عهد هارون الرشيد، حيث تنقل بين عدة سجون في بغداد، وكان سجنه طويلًا وقاسيًا.

صفاته: عُرف بالزهد، العبادة، الحلم، وكظم الغيظ حتى صار مثالًا للصبر، وكان يعلّم أصحابه مخالطة الفقراء والتواضع لهم، معتبرًا أن خدمتهم طريق إلى الجنة.

استشهاده: في يوم 25 رجب سنة 183هـ، استشهد الإمام مسمومًا في سجن بغداد بأمر من هارون الرشيد، ودفن في مقابر قريش التي أصبحت تعرف اليوم بالكاظمية، حيث مرقده الشريف.

الأثر الروحي: رغم القيود والسجون، تحوّل صبره إلى مدرسة للأمة، وأصبح قبره مقصدًا للزائرين الذين يطلبون الحوائج، حتى غدا رمزًا للرحمة والشفاعة

Imam Musa ibn Ja‘far al-Kadhim was the seventh Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt. He became renowned with the title Bab al-Hawa’ij (The Gate of Needs) because prayers were often answered at his shrine, and he was a refuge for the needy and the poor.

Life in Prisons:
He spent most of his Imamate in the prisons of the Abbasids, especially during the reign of Harun al-Rashid. He was transferred between several prisons in Baghdad, enduring long and harsh imprisonment.

Qualities:
He was known for asceticism, devotion, patience, and for suppressing anger, becoming a true example of endurance. He taught his companions to associate with the poor and to show humility toward them, considering service to the needy as a path to Paradise.

Martyrdom:
On the 25th of Rajab, in the year 183 AH, Imam al-Kadhim was martyred by poisoning in the prison of Baghdad under the order of Harun al-Rashid. He was buried in the Quraysh cemetery, which later became known as al-Kadhimiyyah, where his holy shrine stands today.

Spiritual Impact:
Despite chains and imprisonment, his patience became a school for the entire Ummah. His shrine turned into a destination for visitors seeking the fulfillment of their needs, and he became a lasting symbol of mercy and intercession
