There is this new type of Business Model that will take off in this funding winter and capture the world in the next decade...

I call these guys “Indie Founders” or the perfect hybrid between an MSME and a startup.

👉🏼 Content and Personal Brand will push Customer Acquisition Costs down to sustainable levels and content will become the base on which communities will be built

👉🏼 Problems identified for such communities will be solved using no-code tech - all created using tools like Airtable, GPT-4, Loom, Notion, Rows, Carrd, Bubble, Zapier...

👉🏼 Profitability will be hit within 12 months of launch, possibly much sooner, and founders (internet schooled) will be able to fund the product launch through own savings

👉🏼 The product will have to be a “Delta 4” as Kunal Shah puts it - considerably better than existing manual solution to the problem - driving crazy word-of-mouth

👉🏼 The founder will put it on auto-mode with no necessity to sell, and build another product from the proceeds

👉🏼 Skills Needed:
- Being up to speed with what No Code tools can do for cheap
- Being a creator and knowing how to scale a community online
- Understanding Consumer Psychology and Trend Spotting

👉🏼 Investors will launch funds that invest “patient capital” in founders with no pressure to exit if the business can continue paying dividends or buy the shares back through retained earnings in the future. The funds will be used as small angel cheques to build an initial team, if at all.
