Tainted Michigan: In the 1970's PBB poisoned thousands of people in Michigan

Before there was the lead poisoning of Flint residents, there was the PBB contamination of 1974. A mix up between flame retardant and animal feed resulted in the poisoning of millions of animals and thousands of people. 13 ON YOUR SIDE Health Reporter Valerie Lego wrote a documentary on the health effects of the PBB incident called: “Tainted Michigan: 40 years of PBB Contamination". This documentary looked at the ongoing health effects that poisoning continues to have on future generations.
