Assassin's Creed Syndicate's Somewhat Unhinged DLC

Assassin's Creed Syndicate's big expansion was a welcome departure from the main game's upbeat, humorous tone - opting for a dark, atmospheric experience instead tackling the destructive path of London's most notorious murderer against the backdrop of 1888 Whitechapel. This welcome change however, came in the company of some rather strange caveats. The Jack the Ripper DLC is an expansion of ups and downs, but was it any good overall? Many seem to think so and yet I was never its biggest advocate. Is it better than I gave it credit for back in 2015 or is it truly just... a bit too unhinged to appreciate? Let's find out.
