Even famous business books like The E-Myth Revisited fail at the most basic marketing principle - capturing leads.

Self-published books are possibly the WORST lead conversion mechanisms ever created:

• Amazon never shares buyer contact info with you
• You can't remarket to someone who abandoned at Chapter 2
• Only 5% of non-fiction readers complete more than 75% of the book

If you've self-published (or are planning to), here's your wake-up call:

1. Front-load your lead capture mechanisms in the first few chapters
2. Strategically position your solution earlier in the book
3. Don't rely on readers reaching your CTA at the end (they won't)

The harsh truth? Your brilliant insights mean nothing if readers never take the next step with you.
