They've been together in various local Los Angeles clubs over 12 years, last show I saw them play was at Knitting Factory Hollywood which some may know is now closed 2 years ago. Having never heard of Maui's Sugarmill Saloon, I was excited to go.
It's just a little hole-in-the-wall bar, in a tiny strip mall off Ventura Blvd which I passed dozens of times for decades never having stopped once. They have a mature mix of patrons that was welcoming, everyone was cool and wasn't shy of showing appreciation.
