A Decade in Japan (Black in Japan) | MFiles
In this episode of The Melanated Files (MFiles) we introduce Ouli, a native of Senegal who has been living in Japan for almost a decade and works as a Program Coordinator for a Tokyo based nonprofit. During the past ten years Ouli received her undergraduate and graduate education in Japan and is now living her childhood dream of working for a nonprofit. Along the way she had to endure a trying year balancing two part time jobs with an almost impossible task of completing one hundred credits in a single year. In the end she was triumphant and today she shares her journey with us. Watch to hear her story.
