BBC Six O'Clock News - c1986

A trailer for BBC North West's 'Northwest Tonight' with John Mundy follows into the BBC1 Clock and the 1984-1993 tiles for the SIx O'Clock News. With Sue Lawley and Nicholas Witchell.

The 'Six' graphics were realised by video company CAL Video, who also made the 1985 set of titles for the BBC's Nine O'Clock News. They were designed in-house at the BBC by Terry Hylton and Andy Davyf.

George Fenton created the music. This look lasted until 1993.
