Dominic Perrottet offers to front COVID-19 inquiry
Former NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has offered to front Labor’s COVID-19 inquiry.
The review will investigate the government’s handling of the pandemic years.
It has been met with derision as state premiers cannot be compelled to make submissions despite their significant power during COVID-19.
“We need to understand what decisions we got right,” Mr Perrottet said.
“And importantly what decisions we got wrong, so as a country we are better prepared in case we have a similar situation in the future.”
