Switzerland Snow Hiking - Eiger Glacier to Lauterbrunnen Hike

A snowy hike from the Eiger North Face Glacier to Wengen and then Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps (Switzerland) The trail is shared and can either be hiked or sledded by snow sled. Great views to the towns of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

The cogwheel train takes you directly from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg via Wengen. At Kleine Scheidegg you need to change trains and to get to the the Eigergletscher ( Eiger Glacier ) station. Good winter hiking boots are recommended to stay dry and warm (snow shoes are not required for this hike as the trail is prepared! )
