Matt Ward Sound Design Reel

Here is a selection of some of my recent sound design work.

The first is the cinema spot for Outcast, the new show on Fox TV. This is quite sparing in dialogue, so the sound design had to work hard to build tension. I was given the time to create a whole new range of sounds for this, so ignored anything in my library labelled as a "whoosh" and created something wholly original.

The WWII 70 years on spot was interesting to work on, as every archive voice was recreated by the extraordinarily talented Terry Mynott.

Its also worth mentioning that as well as the sound design on The Walking Dead and Ghostly Encounters, I also composed the music on both of these promos.
