Aranhas-lince acasalando - Lynx spiders mating (Peucetia rubrolineata)
Pair of Lynx Spiders (Peucetia rubrolineata) mating. The male, who is much smaller than the female, uses his pedipalps to fertilize the female, who at no time showed any intention of attacking him, as it sometimes happens in other spiders. With several breaks, perhaps also because of the strong wind at that time which certainly interfered a little, the process was long, as from the moment I found them to when the male left it took about two hours (one of reasons why I didn't film the whole thing). As previously mentioned, it was quite windy and because of that many parts of the video are very shaky.
Searching about it on the Internet, I found this article (in Portuguese) that describes the entire courting and mating behaviour of this species https://repositorio.ufu.br/handle/123456789/32882
