Today is Black Friday and all the stores in our city provide just crazy discounts. So my friend Charlotte dragged me to the shop, saying that I shouldn't miss this opportunity. Arriving at the mall, we saw a huge number of people. All the shops are just crowded.I felt sorry for the sellers. Looking at all this, I immediately lost my mood and I offered my friend go home. But she was adamant. Indeed, I’m staying at home for days, and then my husband went on a business trip and I finally managed to meet my girlfriend. So why not spend this day with my friend.
Everyone pushed and shoved each other, everyone wanted to quickly get into the fitting room. I calmly waited for my friend. Suddenly some teenager accidentally pushed me. I dropped all the things that were in my hands, and when I bent over, everything around me abated, as if time had stopped. I didn't immediately understand what was happening, but when I saw that all eyes were directed in my direction, everything became clear. My wig flew off. And everyone saw that I was bald.
The only thing I wanted now was not to dissapear, I wanted Charlotte not to see me, otherwise I would have to explain everything to her. But it was too late, a friend saw everything.
In order not to confuse you, I will start from the beginning. I got married as soon as I turned 18. He was my first love, we had such a beautiful relationship: a sea of flowers and gifts, romantic dates. Therefore when Joseph proposed to me, I couldn't refuse, despite my young age. We looked like just the perfect couple, I am a cute blue-eyed blonde, and he is a successful marketer. All friends envied me, my parents were happy that their only daughter met such a guy. But it just seemed so.
Less than a year after the wedding, something unimaginable began. First he forced me to transfer to distance learning, so that I would spend more time at home. Then I was forbidden to see my friends, then scandals began for no reason. We went only together even to my parents. Oddly enough, with outsiders he behaved in a completely different way, creating the appearance of an ideal family.
I thought that these were all temporary difficulties, that soon everything would pass. So I didn’t tell my parents anything, didn’t want them to worry. I obeyed my husband in everything, stopped wearing dresses and skirts, almost never saw my friends. But I couldn’t cut my hair, because as far as I remember, I always had long ringlets. This is part of me that I can’t get rid of.
Every day I got up at 6 in the morning to cook his breakfast, every day I gave him food to work, every evening a hot dinner was waiting for him on the table. Over time he calmed down a little, but this is only because I did everything he says. Every day thoughts of divorce were born in my head, but I was afraid even to tell him that I wanted to divorce.
Last week I cooked breakfast as usual: his favorite omelet with bacon. But as soon as he sat down at the table, I heard some kind of rumble. Turning around I saw that he threw the plate on the floor, shards of glass scattered throughout the kitchen. I was scared, I was afraid that he would hit me. But no, he just said in a low, too calm voice that there was hair in the plate. He also threatened that if I try to leave, it will be even worse. Fortunately the next day he went on a business trip. I bought a wig and began to think what to do next.
Hearing all this, my friend was just shocked. She said that she will never allow me to continue to live with this tyrant. I understood that she was right. I can’t return to this person, because it is not known what other harm he can do to me. That day I took all my belongings and left for my friend. On her advice, I wrote a report to the police against my husband.
