Hey Guys, wanted to do this for a while now, but aside from challenges and trying to be everywhere (as much as possible) this was a topic, i had to "set aside" for a better time...and that time is now.
Not to be taken as a "slight" of any kind, I had been avoiding Tekno on NEXT, for various reasons, top among them being: Being kinda "burned out" on it since ive been on and off with Tekno games for a long time, and when JJtheking and i decided to take up on doing a build in Aura RetroFE, i was pretty much "in the zone" in terms of what i wanted to do for people out there to enjoy.

in that sense i feel we did accomplish that, unfortunately that also brought some "unforeseen" period of "troubleshooting" woes, and trying to communicate to the audience that this wasn't your "run of the mill" emulator/rom situation and that it needed some sort of input/knowledge on the user side to fully enjoy.

Pair that with some obtuse people who prefer to hate on the effort instead of actually doing some research on how it actually worked, made for some "draining" time.

Of course quickly after that i began working on Nesica build (which wasn't as popular) but was fun Nonetheless, and much less taxing to provide help with. and around that time, Tekno "dropped" (yes..dropped) on Coinops NEXT.

to say at that point that i was a little disappointed, would be an understatement.
In my honest opinion, the whole deal felt a bit rushed, and haphazard, so i decided to pass on it until the dust settled.

Then buddy Stainless made what i believe is the best solution for Tekno to make sense and be user friendly at the same time (it gave order to the deal)

and made me want to mess with it again, hence this video.
Aesthetically it does Tekno games justice, and also provides the tools to classify the games by hardware (a concept i tried to explain to many people yet, it eluded them.
