Toby & Spencer Tribute (S1-7) | Give Me Love

Okay, so I have a lot of thoughts on that finale, but I'll just save my breath here. I'm sure if you follow me on Tumblr, you'll know my opinions. Long story short, that episode made my heart sink. To think that the last few spoby scenes we were given weren't actually spoby??? It makes me sad. The acting was phenomenal (especially on Troian's part), don't get me wrong. However, spoby really got the short end of the stick in my opinion. I was hoping, at the very least, to get one final kiss from them, considering this was the last time that we would see these characters.

That being said, this video was very difficult to make. It hasn't really sunk in that we won't be getting any more spoby scenes or quotes. To most people, spoby is just a ship, but to me, they are so much more. In fact, one of the first ever videos that I made was a spoby video when I was about 16 years old (in case you want to see some terrible editing, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JxD1yCvaQ8). I remember exactly when I made that video, I struggled badly to make friends and I really felt alone. I have grown so much from the time of season one until now. I grew up with these characters and oddly enough, they have brought me confidence and insane joy. I don't normally post personal things, but spoby has gotten me through some of my darkest days and I will forever be grateful to the show for that, even though spoby deserved a better, more proper ending. In my mind, they are happily married, living far away from that hell hole called Rosewood, and can finally find some peace within each other. They deserve that.

Even though they will probably never see this (a girl can dream), I want to say an immense thank you to Keegan and Troian for bringing these two, scrabble loving soulmates, to life. They have made me so happy for the past seven years. I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my videos over the years. You don't know how much just one comment puts a smile on my face. Even though the show is over, I will continue to make spoby videos because I truly believe that at some time, in some form, we will see these two characters again.

I hope this video takes you down spoby memory lane and helps you remember that even though we didn't quite get the ending that we hoped for, spoby is endgame and will remain one of the most epic ships of all time.
