Recently, the media was outraged when President Trump “fired” key impeachment witnesses from the White House. Among them included Lt. Col. Vindman and his twin brother, who were immediately dismissed following Trump’s acquittal. The media said it was “vindictive, outrageous, and unpatriotic” to boot-kick them out of their roles in the National Security Council.

Lt. Col. Vindman deserves our respect for his decorated military service. However, he does not deserve to be treated like a martyr for supposedly doing “his job.” In fact, both Vindman and his brother never lost their paychecks and were reassigned by the Pentagon. Both he and his brother lost their positions because the president did not trust them. Several months ago, Vindman’s direct supervisor complained that he failed to follow the proper chain of command.

Did you know that Vindman was a holdover from the Obama administration?! Honestly, firing Lt. Col. Vindman was wrong because it didn’t happen sooner!
