How Speedrunners beat Final Fantasy 7 for the PSX (JENOVA-Synthesis and Sephiroth)

This is just a demonstration of how to beat this game from the final descent onward for the No Slots Any% route. This is on PS2 console using psx discs.

Wait tricking is used to get tifa 2 turns for every turn the bosses get letting us deal massive damage. We keep tifa in crit health so that way deathblows and death sentence deal an amazing amount of DPS.

Side note: The Omnislash is actually slower by like 15 seconds at the end of the run. But you be lame if you don't do it.

This does not represent other categories, however I hope you find it fun watching sephiroth get thoroughly whipped before his big boy move even goes off. Although I slightly messed up the fight, it wouldn't have made any difference as the 1 mistake I made only lets one turn pass of which doesn't matter, and it double doesn't matter as I got my deathblow off before he Wall'ed which isn't always the case.
