Flysky FS-i6 Trainer PC cable DIY with ACTUAL PIN OUTS / WIRING DIAGRAM

Annoyed at how many videos there are of this with wishy-washy instructions of "strip all the wires and try them in different combinations" to make your own trainer cable - So I put this together quickly to definitively lay out the wiring. - Full diagram kindly created by coldshouldermedia - https://imgur.com/a/ZUBRpWP
As it turns out I had cables that achieved this without any soldering however I've put this together to help anyone trying to make their own. There may well be other ways to do this and maybe the grounds don't need to be bridged but this is what is currently working for me in my Sim (using "Liftoff" from Steam)

You'll be needing smart protoplus software (http://www.smartpropoplus.com/site/) to make this work on the pc - connect the cable to the FSi6 and your PC via the mic in or line in port and the program should auto detect once you get it right on the connections
