SCU's Project Panel | SCU Board + Contributing Members at SCU's AAPC 2023 (Talk + Q&A)
The Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies is excited to release our in-house project panel from this year's Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena Conference!
Peter Reali – Project Manager
Peter highlights the recruitment needs for ongoing projects and introduces how to apply, suggest projects, and access details on the SCU website.
Ralph Howard – Drone Study
Project Drone analyzes FAA reports of pilot-drone encounters. Phase 1 studied 1,317 of 15,000+ reports, showing many "drones" flying at alarming altitudes. Phase 2 examines all 15,366 reports for deeper insights and trends, aiming to discern between drones and UAP. Future phases will evaluate Canadian and UK drone reports.
Tim Oliver – Propulsion Study
The focus is on understanding UAP propulsion and interactions in different environments. Studies include examining UAP movement through air and water, exploring theories like force fields, time dilation, and gravitational constant alterations. Further research delves into the Alcubierre warp drive, magnetohydrodynamic drives, and how UAP might influence radar data. A UAP signature database is in development.
Robert Powell - UAP Reports Analysis (1947-2016)
From 100,000+ UAP eyewitness reports, 301 met strict criteria. Analysis was done on shape, size, speed, effects, and sound. Common shapes include disks, triangles, and spheroids. Some objects displayed exceptional speeds while remaining silent. Key findings include the association of shape with size and behavior.
Larry Hancock & Ian Porritt - Nuclear Intentions Study
The UAP phenomenon poses challenges from their perplexing physics-defying maneuvers to questions of intelligence and intent. SCU has been exploring UAP behavior, especially in the context of the U.S. atomic warfare complex between 1945-1975. An overview of the study model and insights will be presented.
