IKEA Group CEO Jesper Brodin has vowed to lead the 73-year-old company through major transformations.

First, he’s taking on retailers like Amazon by untangling the "spaghetti" he calls IKEA’s dated digital infrastructure.

He also pledges that by 2030 Ikea will “reduce more greenhouse gases than [it] omits" while keeping prices low. "People are not going to pay a premium for sustainability," says Brodin. The idea that they should is "a snobbish point of view."
