Classic WoW Forbidden Items

Hello guys, and welcome to the first part of what will likely be a video series where we look at different special pieces of gear from Classic World of Warcraft.
“Special” is a very broad term, but the focus of today’s video will be what I have dubbed “forbidden items”. Those are items with profession, race or class restrictions that do not make sense or at least they are very questionable in most cases.
The term “forbidden” is used slightly ironically as if Blizzard had some darker and more evil motives for restricting and limiting the use of those items. They probably did not, and the items are most likely just the result of early design experimentation, but they are still all unique in different ways, and a lot of interesting points can be made about them. Additionally, they open up for some fundamental item design questions that I am sure the original Blizzard team discussed when developing Vanilla World of Warcraft.
