Finding the Right Neurosurgeon for your Brain Tumor Diagnosis: Brain Tumors 101
Dr Charles Cobbs discusses the importance of finding a Neurosurgeon who is a brain tumor specialist when you are diagnosed with a brain tumor.
In our latest video, Dr Cobbs discusses a patient experience with a patient who had been having headaches for 10+ years and had significant hearing loss. The patient was found to have a meningioma brain tumor when he was being seen about getting a cochlear implant.
Dr Cobbs was able to get the out of town patient in quickly and operate to remove the brain tumor. The patient no longer has headaches and has now received his cochlear implant as well from Dr Cobbs colleague, Dr Backous at The Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment at SWEDISH Neuroscience Institute in Seattle.
There is a great deal of anxiety when being diagnosed with a brain tumor... Dr Cobbs helped make the patients feel more confident with his expertise and his friendly and compassionate approach.
