Filipino Pork BBQ - English | Kency Ting

Hello world! Sorry for my raspy voice, I was quite sick when I was doing my voiceover. It's officially spring in Vancouver but it's still raining :( luckily, I was able to catch the sun when I shot this video. Thumbs up if you can't wait for summer!

RECIPE FOR FILIPINO PORK BBQ

How to make Filipino Pork BBQ
Ingredients to make Filipino Pork BBQ:

Marinade:
3/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup banana ketchup
1/4 lemon juice
1/2 cup 7-up
5 gloves garlic
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon pepper

1 kg pork shoulder blade
BBQ sticks
Directions to make Filipino Pork BBQ:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients, mix well.

2. Add pork and marinate overnight or for at least 6 hours in the fridge.

3. Distribute meat on skewers. Keep marinade for glaze.

4. Put heat of BBQ grill on medium low. Evenly distribute skewers on the grill and cook for 2 minutes. Glaze the top, turn over skewers and cook for 2 minutes. Turn the skewers over and cook for 2 minutes of each side (you do not need to glaze anymore).

5. Serve hot and enjoy under the sun!
