I have had requests to offer this beautiful embroidered star motif as an online workshop and I'm thrilled to finally have it ready for you! In the Snowflake Embroidered Star online class, I will walk you through all the steps of the vintage craft of Chicken Scratch Embroidery to make a beautiful star motif. I've fallen hard for this craft (also known by other names such as Depression Lace, Snowflake Embroidery, Amish Lace, etc). The finished panel I will show you how to make from beginning to end can be made into a 20" square pillow, or a mini quilt. Once you learn the basics from this class, you will be able to try all sorts of variations of chicken scratch patterns, just grab a piece of gingham and some embroidery thread and needle, its all you need.
