The most UNDERRATED camera in 2020 / Canon R6

Got this Canon R6 about mid-October and can’t even tell you all the REAL world projects I have used this on, but it’s a lot. From weddings, to commercial work, to real estate shoots. I’m going to talk about the VIDEO side of things bc that’s what I do professionally, I don’t consider myself a photographer but I do snap some photos here and there.

This is THE most underrated camera’s of 2020, and probably 2021 if things don’t start changing.

Main reason - lots a false INFO still being put out on this camera among Youtubers.

How I’m going to break down this video. Great, good, and ugly.

Great
-4K up to 60 fps (barely) any crop
-Clog 10 bit 422!
-Canon color science
-unbelievable low light performance
-I’m saying this but it’s not available yet, but Clog3, HIGHER dynamic range!

Good
-A GREAT hybrid camera
-120 fps @ 1080 [also great that this can be 10 bit if Clog is enabled]
-Inbody stabilization (a little warpy as I’m sure you’ve heard at the wider focal lengths] - talk about the way around it

Ugly
-Proxies/Optimized media [Not a problem if not shooting Clog 10bit]
-Custom modes not yet

Overall I would 9.5 out of 10 recommend this camera for anyone ESPECIALLY if you are a hybrid shooter.

Is this camera as bad as everyone’s making it out to be? NO
Will it overheat if you’re shooting 4K 60 for an hour and a half straight? YES
Should you buy this camera? If you’re looking for a great 4K camera with great colors, and pretty good dynamic range. YES
