My guest this week is Dr Tomás Nedelka , a Consultant Neurologist From the Czech Republic who has been using Shockwave over the last 10 years for a variety of MSK conditions, particularly in chronic spinal pain.
He is currently the 1st Vice President of the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment and published a paper in 2014 comparing effectiveness of interventions - including shockwave - for chronic lumbar facet pain.

This podcast discusses his approach to this common clinical problem alongside his recent work using focused shockwave for LBP and potential safety concerns for treating the upper cervical spine.
