Quantum How It Works | Home Appliances Explained | Refrigerator
A refrigerator does not actually “make cold.”
Instead:it removes heat from inside the fridge and pushes that heat into the room.
Inside the system, a fluid called refrigerant constantly circulates through pipes.
How does the cycle work?
🔹 The compressor squeezes the refrigerant➡ pressure increases➡ temperature increases
🔹 The hot refrigerant moves through coils behind the fridge➡ heat escapes into the room
🔹 Then the refrigerant expands inside the evaporator➡ it becomes extremely cold
That cold refrigerant absorbs heat from the food and air inside the refrigerator.
This process repeats continuously all day.
Interesting fact:
The back of a refrigerator feels warm because the fridge is literally dumping heat from inside the appliance into your kitchen.
A refrigerator is basically a heat-moving machine.
