Caspian/Susan - So Close

This is a story of disappointed love. The song "So Close" from Enchanted is PERFECT for Susan and Caspian (without making it an AU!)

I've used the deleted archery scene where Caspian ALMOST hits the pinecone as my theme for this video. Everything he does seems to be SO CLOSE to right. He messes up a lot, but she hangs on. They finally allow themselves to hope that maybe, just maybe... but then Aslan tells Susan she's to go home, and she won't be coming back. Caspian knows something is wrong, and then Susan has to tell him- This is goodbye. They'd come SO FAR. They were SO CLOSE to reaching a happy ending. Then they lose each other. After an emotional farewell, all they have is memories of one another...

One note: There's so much emotion in these clips, it's amazing. Kudos to Ben and Anna. But I feel sorry for Caspian and Susan to have to go through what the scriptwriters put them through! The only thing wrong with the mini romance, is that it's NOT IN THE BOOK! Caspian should be learning how to be king, not how to love. Susan should be enjoying Narnia, not going through a relationship drama. So while it made the movie more interesting to some people, this side plot is totally NOT the feel of the C.S. Lewis' "Prince Caspian." Ok, I'm done ranting. :p
