Governing for Reform in Aged Care opening webinar
Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services, Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck, was joined by Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner Janet Anderson PSM, and sector leaders Mike Baird AO, CEO HammondCare, Anne Skipper AM, Chair Silver Chain and Maree McCabe AM, CEO Dementia Australia to officially open the Governing for Reform in Aged Care program on 16 March 2022.
The panel of sector leaders discussed the sectoral change needed, the importance of leadership and good governance in delivering change, and how the program can help members of governing bodies and executives navigate the reform agenda and enhance consumer outcomes in their organisations.
Led by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, the Program will help governing bodies and executives strengthen their organisational and clinical governance capability and work collectively to enact critical reforms.
