Restored WWII P-63 Kingcobra Fighter Flight Demo- GREAT Allison V-12 Engine Sound !

This is a video of the Palm Springs Air Museum's rare Bell P-63 Fighter. The P-63 was a further development of Bell's P-39 Airacobra. The P-63 saw very little use by the US Army Air Forces, none in a combat role. However, the Soviet Union used them quite extensively in WWII principally in the ground-attack role which took advantage of the nose-mounted 37mm Oldsmobile M4 cannon. Although not having the performance of the P-51 Mustang and some other WWII fighters, the P-63 remains a fascinating WWII aircraft and also displays that great Allison V-1710 12-cylinder sound!
