Have you ever thought about how the products you bought were made? Have you ever pondered over the effect your daily choices have on both the environment and you?

The power we have as consumers is indescribable and people often tend to underestimate it, however, Nour Negm believes that it’s an exceedingly important matter that shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Nour studies Architectural Engineering at the American University in Cairo. She is also a member of the student social responsibility committee under community integration in the Student Union. She studies Architecture by day and is an environmental warrior by night.

Nour has been an environmentalist since she was 10. Even though she always cared about the environment, she wasn’t aware of what she could do to save it. Recently, she learned a lot about how much power she has as an individual and the endless amount of things she can do to help it. Nour believes that we, as consumers, have so much market power. However, this is something everybody knows, but Nour is convinced that our power is determined by the choices we make Nour studies Architectural Engineering at the American University in Cairo.
