The beauty of this mount is that it kinda gives you all of the 3 worlds, as you can take it on your journey record yourself from a 3rd person view perspective using 3-way as a short selfie stick and on another occasion you can fold it and use as a camera grip or even as a small tripod.

When you use 3-way 2.0 as a extendable selfie stick you can in fact fold it to an angle where you don't see the selfie stick in your shot. It's actually quite good for vlogging and taking selfie photos where you dont want that stick to be visible but you if you need that extra reach you can fully extend it to capture a wider perspective.
When you use it as camera grip it gonna give you that secure solid grip while recording your video without touching the camera and thanks to a lanyard thats attached even if you accidentaly drop your camera out of your hand you will not risk losing or damaging it. As a camera grip you can use this gopro accessory to follow cam, take photos or just to get that firm grip during your activities.
When you want to use it as a small tripod you can record a timelapse with it for example a sunset, sunrise or perhaps you want to record yourself doing something and you want to the camera to be in one place. It can also be used for taking a photo or group photo.
Just bear in mind that even though GoPro 3-way 2.0 is an all around accessory that can be used as 3 in 1 product it doesnt mean that its the best mount for the particular job.
As a selfie stick you may find it its gonna be a little bit short
