Son surpises Mom with trip to Italy for Christmas

I had the amazing and very fortunate opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy in 2009. That trip changed my life. While I was there I was also greeted by my Dad and Brother over Thanksgiving break. Unfortunately, my Mom was unable to come visit me and experience what was my favorite place in the world. While taking care of my Step Dad during his health issues, who has since passed away and we miss him everyday, she gave the opportunity for my brother and dad to come see me in Italy. I always told myself that one day I would surprise her with a trip to Italy of her own. That day to do one of the most rewarding things I've ever done has finally arrived and show her a token of my appreciation. She is strong, selfless, and dedicated. Merry Christmas, Mom - you deserve it.
