Takumar 200mm f3.5 - an 18 bladed bokeh monster - review and photos
The description 'bokeh monster' is over-used, but the Takumar 200mm f3.5 really does deserve the accolade. With 18 blades, and excellent rendering for its age, it produces super-smooth and interesting bokeh stopped down as well as wide open.
This video provides a practical assessment of the 60 year-old lens's strengths and limitations on modern digital sensors. It answers the questions - Do you need this lens? And how often will you realistically use it?
