Cleveland area weather forecast: Watching for rain chances

Your 5 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for October 4, 2024:

You may have been hearing about some Northern Lights possibilities lighting up the night sky.

Well, somewhere it will happen, but our chances are fairly slim. IF we're going to see it, the best chances will be WITH A PHONE OR CAMERA. They likely won't be visible to the naked eye.

The Space Prediction Center says that Saturday night has slightly better prospects. Overall, however, our chances are minimal. Keep an eye on social - folks will post if they do see the lights.
