This event is a big deal, thanks to Raffy. For one, I am the last remaining of my peers, Wally Gonzales and Pepe Smith. Good I am still here. Those who are here may witnessing what may be my last public rendition of “Laki sa Layaw,” who knows. It’s good you connected with me, Raffy. There are many stories there --- but too long to tell. Thank you for being here.
Take this as a lesson to you from what we have written and sung, a lesson to the youth, the youth now who need our guidance, who have strayed so far that they have no care in this world.
I hope we see each other again soon, anywhere, whenever it is ok.
