Simple how-to: Replace Ford Focus PCV valve & hose, blown rocker gasket #1

Easy DIY how to: fixing a collapsing PCV hose on 2L 16V Zetec engines, a common Focus Mk1 problem, and replacing the PCV valve to ensure all possible related issues eliminated. These problems were identified after a rocker (valve) cover gasket blew, creating a major oil leak - failure of the PCV system can lead to increased crankcase pressure and so is a possible candidate cause.
