Sec 192 of income tax act deals with tds of salaried employees. There is a change introduced by union budget 2024 in this section which proposed that while computing net total income of an employee by an employer for the purpose of tds calculation, now employee will inform about TCS of employee if any for the relevant FY so that employer will deduct that TCS from his TDS and after deduction new amount will be deducted as tds on monthly basis from his salary income
