The backstory/ Explanation (I don't know what to call this):

Deku have a twin brother by the name of Ozuko, Ozuko was born with a quirk unlike Midoriya and he liked showing it off. When they were little their mom always take them to the park, there Ozuko will always impress the children with his quirk. Shigaraki went to the park once and when he saw Ozuko quirk, he decided his quirk will be helpful in the future and decided to kidnap him, which he did by luring him with sweets. They erased like a week of his memory and filled him with lies of what actually happened.
Inko died later from over working and stress after this incident. When the Lov found out that Deku now have a quirk that is similar to Almight they decided to get rid of him because it was obvious he's going to be a new symbol of peace and they don't want any future obstacles. They made the amazing mistake of asking Izuku twin to be the one to kill him, sort of forgetting blood is thicker than water, Enjoy 😀.
