The life of Frida Kahlo in a poem/spoken word
I wrote this ekphrastic poem called Betrayal of life about one of my favourite artists Frida Kahlo. Her life story is one of tragedy and courage.
The poem is based on her artwork 'The wounded Deer 1946' as it expresses enduring her physical and emotional pain.
