DIY Sectional 2x4 Bench and Table Outdoor Sofa Time-Lapse...

So this is our sectional diy outdoor sofa/bench and table. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination and a lot of people will probably be horrified by how i made this. Other than the legs for the table this was all made with 2x4 timber (pressure treated) 2.4m long and the slats i just used cheap decking which is also 2.4m long. So each section has an actual seating space of 2.4m long + the arms, and around 55cm deep. This will comfortably seat 7-8 people with no problems. I looked at quite a few videos but the link i posted above was my main source of inspiration so please check it out as it has plans on how to make it. I didn’t follow the plans as such but adapted to suit our own needs and because of how long ours is i decided to add quite a bit extra for reinforcement and to just make it a lot stronger. I’m not exactly skinny and i can stand on the arms and the back without it flexing or moving at all.

This was all made over around 3 days, it was so hot at times that i had to complete some of it in the evening when it was cooler. Unfortunately i have not been able to do a video with all the cushions on it as the weather has been rubbish since i made it (i will do an update video including all cushions when the weather improves).
