This is the story of success of a Filipina on how she found success in dairy farming in the Philippines and how she started her own small hold dairy farm in province of Quezon.
Ms. Gemma Chavez is a former government employee turned dairy farmer now with a 20 years experience in small hold dairying and multiple awards.
She started her journey into dairying with a dream of providing for her family without leaving her town. She found inspiration from a farmer who has engineering degree but chose to be on dairying and was able to earn five hundred thousand ( 500,000 ) pesos a year by year 1997.
On this video Gemma shares how she was able to start, her struggle and success pursuing her dream dairy farm.
