Making a Christmas Tree with Green Acrylic

Growing up in a refugee family, I never truly celebrated holidays like Halloween or Christmas. There was only one year where my family had a Christmas tree that my father secretly setup in the living room of our one-bedroom apartment in New York City. Aside from that year, we never put up a Christmas tree again. So, I thought, why not design and make a small Christmas tree light fixture that I could setup every year on my dinner table for the holiday season?

In this video, I’ll take you through my design and 3D model of the concept of this project, cutting the pieces on my Glowforge Laser Cutter, and assembling the pieces to create an elegant and beautiful light.
