Gran Cafe De Paris: Tangier Morocco SAM 1909

Tangier's Gran Cafe De Paris, is currently mostly known from being in the movie "The Bourne Ultimatum," where Jason Bourne and his daring do saves the world and gets the girl.
Luckily he wasn't there, so I met a beautiful French girl, and a wonderful older Jewish woman, both living in Tangier. This Cafe is the only one in Tangier where women can meet and sit. Cafe society in Tangier and most of Morocco is male dominated, and consists of watching soccer and smoking. The Jewish woman was returning to Marseille after years of living here. She said she grew tired of the male dominated culture. We talked and sat for hours I found them both to be wonderful persons and I would not have traded meeting them for all the Hollywood starlets in the world. These woman had depth. The french woman had some side teeth missing (So do I) (God forbid she be banished and burned at the stake for walking down Madison Avenue in NYC for not being able to afford proper dental care) You know what: she was ten times more beautiful than any New York supermodel. She was kind, she was good, and she was real. And the older Jewish woman had a smile that lit up the whole Cafe. She beamed, she glowed all that is good in this crazy mixed up world we live in.
