A tribute to Patrik

This is a tribute to Patrik, the horse that I am with at the end of the Path of the Horse documentary. He left this world 6 years ago after we spent 10 years together, yet his legacy lives on in myself and everyone he touched and continues to touch through the magic of film and the medium of teaching. It has some peaceful piano music to accompany it if you turn the sound on.

A friend said it is like we were supposed to be together. It is so true.

He was sent to me to be started as a 3 year old and his owner kept trying to give him to me. Finally I accepted him as my own after a few years when I realized how deep our bond had become.

He had such a great sense of humor. He loved galloping up to me and then stopping inches away. It never scared me at all since we were best friends but I heard that when he tried it with other people they saw their life flash before their eyes.

He was the horse that I started Nevzorov Haute Ecole with in 2006. He understood many words, could identify colors by name and came up with many of our games.
