1) Quilt exterior fabric on acrylic interfacing. 2) Sew one side of the zipper, this way: exterior fabric with right side up, zipper with right side down, interior fabric with right side down. 3) Sew the other side of the zipper. 4) Turn the piece outwards and sew alongside the zipper, with matching thread colors because this line will be seen when the pouch is ready and folded (she recommends that we use invisible thread). 5) Turn it inside out and install the zipper cursor, leaving the zipper halfway open afterwards. 6) Find the middle of each of the 4 sides and mark it with a snip. 7) Align the 4 marks with the center of the zipper and sew 0.75cm from the edge. Cut excess zipper. 8) Do the same on the other side, but this time leave half of the lining unsewn, as shown in the video. 9) Turn it right side out through the opening in the lining. 10) Sew the lining closed. 11) Make the boxed corners: align the sewing line in the exact center; mark a point 9cm from the corner, down both sides of the triangle, and sew a line connecting these 2 points. Do the same in all 4 corners of the pouch. 12) Fold the corner tabs and sew them to the pouch (invisible thread recommended).
