Does God Suffer? Reconciling God with the Cross of Christ
In the Incarnation, the Son of God comes to exist as a man and suffers and dies on the cross. It is this salvific suffering that frees humankind of sin and death, and in the bodily resurrection offers to humankind eternal life. But does God, in His divinity, suffer along with us? Fr. Weinandy explores the union of natures in Christ and what it means for our salvation.
